Hello, my name is Humberto Acosta and I thank you profoundly that you are taking the time to visit this page.
CLIVMUSIC. This site is dedicated to Christian music that is inspired by God in the sense that He is the primary focus. I am aware that God did not dictate new revelations or new words to any of my songs, however, in paying attention to his creation and accepting his plan of salvation for my life my music is an attempt to glorify him exclusively.
It is my most sincere wish that here you will find a place for reflection, and renewed spiritual strength and expression.
I believe with great conviction that praise and worship are an essential part from the birth of time and the primordial ingredient for communication with God (Psalm 22:3).
The name CLIV is a combination of two roman numerals. CL for 150 and IV for 4. The reference has to do with Psalm 150:4.: "Praise Him with tambourine and dance; praise Him with stringed and wind instruments"
For now, all of the songs, verses, commentary, etc... that are here contained, are those that are authored by me with God's grace and have as their only objective to please Him and only Him. I acknowledge that He is the creator of everything around us and there is nothing good within me that is not there because of Him. At the same time, if the fact that when you listen to a phrase in a song or an idea that is exposed here motivates you to seek God, to study his Word and His plan for you, then, the fundamental purpose of our effort will be accomplished exponentially..
Our first musical project is titled "Que Seas Tu" (Spanish for "let it be You") and it is already available in itunes and amazon where you can obtain the entire production or each song individually. It is our intention that this year we complete our first all English production.
I hope that in the not too distant future, God transforms us into a conduit for other expositors that share our vision and conviction to thoughtful music with deep thinking lyrics.
